GENERAL INFORMATION

SENIOR Students -If you need more than 8 graduation tickets, stop buy the Main Office and sign up for up to 6 additional tickets. The extra tickets will be in the envelope with your initial 8 tickets that you will receive after Graduation rehearsal on Wednesday, June 5. All of your obligations be cleared to receive your tickets.

Reception for the 2012 Student Art Show, Thursday, 5 - 7 pm at the Malaga cove Library Art Gallery. Support your friends, see great art and eat free food!

Spirit Week will continue on Wednesday, Pajama Day, so look for those comfy and appropriate PJs. Bring your favorite cereal to school, and ASB will provide milk, spoons and bowls during lunch. Along with the "cereal party", there will be a fun pj-themed class comp. And remember: Thursday is Class Colors Day.

Spring Football begins tomorrow, Wednesday, 5/22 at 3pm in the stadium. All students encouraged to attend. No experience needed.

Earn a Varsity Football Letter without getting tackled! Varsity Football needs 8 student assistants who will receive all the benefits of being on the team. See Coach Christensen for details!

The Service Learning Leadership Application Deadline is TODAY, May 22nd at 3:00 pm in the Activities Office- S20. Don't miss this great opportunity to apply for this new leadership class and make a substantial impact in your school and community. Applications are available in S20.

National Chinese Honor Society - Our annual banquet is Thursday, 5/23! Please pay $15 at P101. Remember, this is mandatory for all seniors!

LIBRARY NEWS - signs posted on the Library doors and around campus listing the 8 AP courses with summer assignments. Bring your student ID to the library before the May 31st deadline to check out your books. Tomorrow is the last day the library is open this school year. Return library books by tomorrow and textbooks to your teachers.

Science National Honor Society Seniors - Honor cord distribution will be Tuesday, 5/28 at lunch in S40. If you cannot make it, you may stop by at lunch any day after. You must pick up your own cord!

Yearbook distribution will be Thursday, May 30. Students will be released by grade level, starting with seniors during first period and ending with freshmen during fourth period. Students must have their student ID in order to receive their yearbook. A limited number of yearbooks will be available for $110 cash-only purchase on May 30, distribution day.

Juniors /Seniors! Remember: today is the last day to buy your prom bid! Prices are $110 w/ASB and $120 w/o. To purchase a bid, you must turn in the Transportation Form, available in the Main Office, Student Store, and in the yellow "senior" mailer. PVPHS will be offering safe, affordable transportation ($10 pp on a chartered bus). You must indicate on the Form whether you will be taking the bus or your parent/guardian will be taking responsibility for your transportation.

Have your prom date? Now you need flowers! Order your boutonniere or corsage from Walteria Flowers and they will donate to Grad Night. Mention Pen High when ordering. (No other discounts apply)

Senior parents: Memory Lane Student Posters are due in the Student Store no later than Wednesday, May 29th. To laminate your poster for only $5, you can contact Brad Ballard at Western Graphix at 310 530-6344

SENIORS!!!! Grad Nite 2013 will be amazing FUN!!!! Spend the last night of high school partying with all your friends and classmates !!! Tickets are $200.Make checks payable to "Grad Nite"; pick up Consent Form at Student Store. ABSOLUTE DEADLINE IS Friday, May 31st!!!!

Seniors!! It's time to order your final transcript to be sent to the college/university you will be attending next year. Please see Mrs. Juge in the Counseling Office.

COLLEGE CAREER CENTER

The CCC will offer a Practice SAT or ACT Test on Saturday, June 8th along with a Parent Q&A Session. Interested students can register by Thursday, June 6th, in the CCC w/$20 cash/ check payable to PVPHS. Students arrive to the CCC at 8:40am. Parent Session from 9:15 - 10:15. All parents are welcome!!!

Financial Aid and Scholarships Attention Seniors: If you applied for the Cal Grant and still have not heard from your college, please create a student account on www.webgrants4students.org to find out the status of your award or to check if there is anything missing. For questions, please contact Mrs. Koyanagi at ext. 267.
