Palos Verdes Peninsula High School will open its doors to the families of prospective students and community members on Thursday, January 24 from 5:15pm to 8:30pm.
From 5:15-6:15pm and from 7:30-8:30pm parents and students will have an opportunity to visit classrooms and learn about our programs. Students, department chairpersons, program advisers, teachers, counselors, student athletes, coaches and Panther parents will be stationed around campus and in classrooms available to answer questions. There will be student-led tours of our new facilities (Jackie Prindle Pool, Panther Team Room, Kelly Johnson Fieldhouse, and the music room) and planned facilities (new 6-classroom building and weight room). In addition, there will be entertainment in the amphitheater provided by some of our amazing student performance groups.
From 6:30-7:15pm parents and students will attend a presentation in the Gym presented by the PVPHS Associated Student Body Board.
Dinner will also be available for purchase from several of LA's most popular food trucks. These include; Greasy Wiener, The Lime Truck. Let's Roll It, Chunk-N-Chip, Border Grill, China Jones, Kogi BBQ, and India Jones. A percentage of each Food Truck's profit will be returned to Peninsula High to defer costs of our Information Night.
