On December 1, 2012, a great science teacher had passed away. Mrs. Peggy Hescox was diagnosed with cancer in September and was on medical leave while she went through several treatments. Peninsula had hoped for Mrs. Hescox to recover, but sadly that did not happen.

Peninsula staff were informed during lunch, and students were informed  personally  during their 5^th period.

Mrs. Hescox will remain in many hearts of students and teachers for being a great teacher and mentor ever since 2001. She had taught Chemistry, Biology, Science Research, and was the faculty adviser for Solar Boat and Science Olympiad.

If students are in need help, Peninsula’s crisis team will be available for students and staff throughout the week.
